The term Alkaline itself refers to the pH level. Water has its own pH level. The pH level tells us how much a substance is Acidic or Basic (Alkaline) on scale from 0 to 14. The higher the level would increase, the less acidic would be the substance.
For e.g., a substance having pH level of 2 would be considered as highly acidic. However, a substance with pH value less than 13 would be considered as less acidic or very alkaline. Alkaline Water has a pH level of 8 or 9 whereas the normal drinking water has a pH level of 7. This is why Alkaline Water can neutralize the acid in your body and can help in preventing many health related issues.
